Neurodyn High Volt Description
RUSSIAN current and HIGH VOLT current (TENS of HIGH VOLTAGE – HVPS):
– CONTINUOUS MODE MANUAL MODE – SYNCHRONIZED MODE SEQUENTIAL MODE – RECIPROCAL METHOD
The device allows the choice of the following parameters:
CHANNEL 1 – regulates the current intensity of channel 1; CHANNEL 2 – regulates the current intensity of Channel 2; CHANNEL 3 – regulates the current intensity of channel 3; CHANNEL 4 – regulates the current intensity of channel 4.
R1 (Hz) – adjustment of treatment frequency 1-150 Hz for channel 1; R2 (Hz) – adjustment of treatment frequency 1-150 Hz for channel 2; R3 (Hz) – adjustment of treatment frequency 1-150 Hz for channel 3; R4 (Hz) – adjustment of treatment frequency 1-150 Hz for channel 4.
Polarity of the pulse (enabled only when the type of current is HIGH VOLT) – it allows selection of the pulse-phase high voltage in positive (P +) or negative (P-).
TIMER – allows you to select the application time from 1 to 60 minutes. At the end of time selected, an alarm will sound and a passage from current to the pacient will cease. The selected value will decrease as this time is running out.
RUSSIAN type of current – Stimulation Mode: CONT. (Continuous): R1 to R4 (repetition frequency of pulses) – in this case the equipment is operating at an average frequency of 2500 Hz modulated by the low frequency band (chosen by the therapist) from 1 Hz to 150 Hz NEURODYN HIGH VOLT allows independent adjustment of channel in the frequency of treatment. Note: When RUSSIAN CONT. (Continuous) current is selected the current parameters Rise, On, Off and Decay will be disabled. So we have a constant, continued stimulation.
RUSSIAN type of current – Stimulation Mode: SYNC. or REC. (Synchronized or Reciprocal): R1 to R4 (repetition frequency of pulses) – In this case the equipment is operating at an average frequency of 2500 Hz modulated by the low frequency band (chosen by the therapist) from 1 Hz to 150 Hz. High Volt Neurodyn allows independent adjustment of channel in the frequency of treatment. RISE (rising ramp pulse) – pulse rising time, variable from 1 to10 seconds. It regulates the speed of contraction, i.e. the time from the beginning until the maximum muscle contraction. High time produces a slow but gradual contraction. Low time produces a small, more sudden contraction (sudden). DECAY (ramp-down pulse) – descent time of the pulse, variable from 1 to 10 seconds. It regulates the speed at which the contraction decreases, i.e. the time from maximum contraction to muscle relaxation. High time produces a slow relaxation. Low time produces a sudden relaxation (sudden). ON TIME ( time on) – time of maximum muscle contraction, variable from 1 to 30 seconds. It adjusts the time that the current flows through the electrodes during each cycle of stimulation. OFF TIME (time off) – resting time of muscle contraction, variable from1 to 60 seconds. It adjsts the time that the current doesn’t flow through the electrodes during each cycle.
Note: When the RUSSIAN SYNC (synchronous)current is selected, all four channels work together, at the same time, i.e. all channels simultaneously run the time chosen for Rise, On, Off and Decay. When the RUSSIAN REC. (Reciprocal) current is selected, the channels 1 2, 3,4 operate alternately.
RUSSIAN type of current -Stimulation Mode : MAN. (Manual): R1 to R4 (repetition frequency of pulses) – In this case the equipment is operating at an average frequency of 2500 Hz modulated by the low frequency band (chosen by the therapist) from 1 Hz to 150 Hz NEURODYN HIGH VOLT allows independent adjustment channel in the frequency of treatment. RISE (rising ramp pulse) – the pulse rise time, variable from1 to 10 seconds. It regulates the speed of contraction, i.e. the time from the beginning until the maximum muscle contraction. High time produces a slow but gradual contraction. Low time producesa small, more sudden contraction (sudden). ON TIME (time on )- time of maximum muscle contraction, variable from 1 to 30 seconds. It regulates the time that current flows through the electrodes during each cycle of stimulation. Note: When the current RUSSIAN MAN (manual) is selected, all four channels work together at the same time, i.e. all channels run simultaneously the time chosen for Rise, On and Decay. Time Off is chosen by the therapist.
RUSSIAN type of current – Stimulation Mode : SEQ. (Linear): R1 to R4 (repetition frequency of pulses) – In this case the equipment is operating at an average frequency of 2500 Hz modulated at low frequency band (chosen by the therapist) from 1 Hz to 150 Hz . High Volt Neurodyn allows independent adjustment channel in the frequency of treatment. RISE (rising ramp pulse) – the pulse rise time, variable from 1 to 10 seconds. It regulates the speed of sequence among the channels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Note: When the RUSSIAN SEQ. (Linear) current is selected , the channels operate in sequential mode, i.e. first channel 1, channel 2, channel 3 and at last channel 4 (starting a new cycle), again according to the time chosen RISE.

PRODUCT FEATURES
NEURODYN HIGH VOLT is an equipment designed for continuous operation mode. It uses microcontrolled technology to ensure the accuracy of the values shown. The accuracy of the operations is according to standard rules for safety equipment for neuromuscular stimulation – NBR IEC 60601-2-10, Clause 50 / subclauses 50.1 and 50.2. The amplitude control continuously monitors the output current intensity from the minimum to the maximum and minimum value does not exceed 2% of the maximum position. The parameters such as waveform output, pulse duration, pulse repetition frequency, amplitude range of output current do not differ by more than 30% mentioned in the following technical description.
The values of the pulse durations and pulse repetition frequency described here were measured at 50% of the maximum amplitude of the output. These parameters are for a load impedance in the range of 990 ohms to 1010 ohms. The effect of load impedance parameters described is very important. If the unit is operated outside the specified load impedance range , there may be inaccuracy in the values of the parameters, as well as modification of the waveforms described here.
NEURODYN HIGH VOLT is a Class II single-phased equipment as part of Type BF applied of security and protection.
