 Neurodyn 10 Channels Description

NEURODYN 10 CHANNELS V3.0 uses microcomputer technology, i.e, it is microcontrolled. It was designed according to existing technical standards for the development of medical equipment (NBR IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2 NBR and NBR IEC 60601-2-10). NEURODYN 10 CHANNELS V3.0 is a complete unit of simple operation, with 10 output channels, allowing multiple treatment options, making it essential for clinical practice. It is an equipment for the production of  average frequency current, Russian current and  Aussie current for neurological disorders treatment , orthopedics, traumatology and esthetic (Eletrolipólise, Lymphatic Drainage, etc.).

Essential Performance :  NEURODYN 10 CHANNELS V3.0 is a device for applying electrical current through electrodes in direct contact with the patient. This is a transcutaneous neuromuscular stimulator. NEURODYN 10 CHANNELS V3.0 was developed taking into account the need of workers who work in different areas  of physical rehabilitation, medical esthetics and esthetics. It is an electro stimulator with 10 output channels for the patient, with independent control of intensity, that is, each channel has an individual control of intensity, which can be used both in a continuous, synchronous, reciprocal, unblocking, sequentially way. NEURODYN 10 CHANNELS V3.0 generates Russian  current at a frequency of 2.500 Hz, Aussie current (also called the Australian current ) at a frequency of 4.000 Hz or 1.000 Hz modulated bursts with a duration of 4 ms or 2 ms,  lymphatic drainage with the possibility of choosing   from 4 to10 channels sequentially and eletrolipolise to treat localized fat. The application of stimulation current is via transcutaneous electrodes (Russian and Aussie current ) or needles (eletrolipolise).

The therapeutical  technique of   Russian or Aussie current is the application of mild electrical stimulation through electrodes placed on the body parts. The  Eletrolipolise technique involves the application of gentle stimulation through needle type electrodes. The technique with the Russian or Aussie current is noninvasive and Eletrolipolise technique is invasive. Both do not have systemic  effects, they are not addictive and have  no  side effects. The intensity current  required for the treatment depends on the patient’s sensitivity. Therefore, the treatment should be started with minimum levels of intensity (very low), increasing thoroughly until they until they get the proper effect to the procedure and  according to the  patient’s report. When a person is subjected to various types of chain, it will feel a tingling sensation at the site or in areas between the electrodes.

This feeling is generally agreable for most of the people. The  sensation is controlled by adjusting the parameters (control) of the equipment. Because of  the technology used is the same as microcomputers, these controls operate through a  touching keyboard. All information related to the parameters chosen by the therapist will be displayed in an alphanumeric LCD .

NEURODYN 10 CHANNELS V3.0 provides the following stimulating modes:

Type of current:

RUSSIAN Current – Mode: CONT. (Continued):

FREQ. (Hz): – in this case the equipment is operating at an average frequency of 2,500 Hz modulated by the low frequency band (chosen by the therapist) from 1 Hz to 120 Hz The sensation of stimulation is continuous, constant.

RUSSIAN Current – Mode: SYNC or REC. (Synchronous or reciprocal):

FREQ. (Hz): – In this case the equipment is operating at an average frequency of 2,500 Hz modulated by the low frequency band (chosen by the therapist) from 1 Hz to 120 Hz the sensation of stimulation follows the chosen time on the slopes On, Off, Rise and Decay.

RISE (rising ramp pulse): – Pulse rise time, variable from 1 to 20 seconds. It regulates the speed of contraction, i.e the time from the beginning until the maximum muscle contraction. High time produces a slow but gradual contraction. Short time produces a sudden relaxation.

DECAY (ramp-down pulse) –  lowering the pulse, ranging from 1 to 20 seconds. It regulates the speed at which the contraction decreases, ie the time from maximum contraction to muscle relaxation. High time produces a slow relaxation. Low  time produces a sudden relaxation.

ON TIME (time on): – time of maximum muscle contraction, variable 10-60 seconds. It sets the time that current flows through the electrodes during each cycle of stimulation.

OFF TIME (time off): – resting time of muscle contraction, variable 10-60 seconds. It sets the time that no current flows through the electrodes during each cycle.

Note: When selected Russia CONTINUOUS, the parameters Rise, On, Off and Decay will be disabled. The sensation will be  continuous, constant.
